Bordeaux Wins Landmark Case Against Counterfeiters in China

CIVB won a case against counterfeiters in China for using their Geographic Indicators on wine that did not come from those areas. This case is the first of it's kind and will likely set a precedent for future cases. Read more about it here.
8000 Bottles of Fake Penfolds Busted in Northern China

Californa Wine Shows Traces of Fukushima Fallout

California wines are showing increased levels of radiation showed in cesium-137 tests, after the Fukushima nuclear disaster. The wines after 2011 will show this, which could be a future indicator of authentication. Read more about it here.
