Fake Burgundy Found in France, Stored in Belgium
Counterfeit wines are not just an issue in Asia. In fact, Europe including France and Belgium are seeing an uptick in the quantity of counterfeits that are flooding the marketplace. Most recently, two men were arrested in France for trying to sell 36 bottles of wine worth 20,000 €. The two men were charged and will serve 18 months in prison.
